Tonight we remember the Alamo - the legendary 13-day siege of the Texas fort began on this day in 1836 - with a 60th anniversary screening of Technicolor Western THE MAN FROM THE ALAMO. Actress Julie Adams and actor Glenn Ford's son Peter Ford will sign copies of their books at 6:30PM and participate in a discussion after the film.

In Sam Peckinpah’s irascible action comedy CONVOY, a trucker (Kris Kristofferson) and his gal (Ali MacGraw) lead a rebellious group of drivers in protest against a brutally repressive sheriff (Ernest Borgnine). A 25th anniversary screening of action comedy MIDNIGHT RUN follows, starring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin as an odd pair thrown together on a madcap, cross-country road trip.

Join us for an evening of documentary, animated and narrative shorts from Cuba’s preeminent female directors, writers and actors. These films make their U.S. debut here before the program travels to New York and Miami! Filmmakers will appear in person and an after party will include Cuban cuisine, drinks, and a performance by Candi Sosa y Su Sexteto.
